Services / Help desk
A help desk that explains what happened.
Computers, phones, printers, Wi-Fi, email, accounts. Remote sessions anywhere in the US, on-site visits in the Phoenix metro, a ticket for everything, and a plain-English explanation every time.
Who this is for
Staff at managed clients, where the help desk is part of the plan; small offices on an hourly arrangement; and home offices or individuals who want an hour of someone competent instead of a weekend on forums.
Typical tickets: a laptop that takes ten minutes to boot, a printer nobody can reach, a locked-out account, email not syncing on a phone, a suspected scam call, a new computer to set up, files to recover from a failing drive.
What's included
- Email, portal and phone intake with a ticket number and severity for everything
- Remote sessions over a secure screen-share you approve each time
- On-site visits in the Phoenix metro, scheduled or same-day when available
- Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPhone
- New computer setup and migration, standard images for managed clients
- Account recovery, MFA setup, password resets with identity verification
- Malware, scareware and scam cleanup, with a frank talk about how it got in
- Printers, scanners, Wi-Fi, conference rooms and the devices nobody owns
- Line-of-business application support in coordination with the vendor
- Data recovery from failing drives, and honest advice when a lab is needed
- Written summary after every ticket with what was done and what to watch
- Monthly ticket report for managed clients: volume, categories, repeat offenders
How an engagement runs
- Tell us the symptom
Email, portal, or phone. A photo of the error message saves a round-trip.
- Triage
Severity assigned and the clock started. Often a reply with a fix to try, or a scheduled remote session.
- The fix
Remote or on-site, with you watching if you like. Nothing changed without saying what and why.
- Close and learn
Written note of what was done; repeat issues feed the quarterly review so root causes get fixed.
Common questions
How do you charge non-managed clients?
Hourly in quarter-hour increments after the first half hour, or a fixed quote for anything we can scope. Rates confirmed before work starts.
Is remote support safe?
You start the session, see everything we do, and end it when you close it. We never ask for passwords; you type them.
Can you support an elderly parent who isn't technical?
Yes, and patiently. We can set up a standing arrangement where they call us and you get the summary.
What can't you fix?
Physically destroyed hardware, and software from vendors who won't talk to anyone but the licence holder. We'll tell you quickly and not bill for finding out.
Tell us what's broken, or what you want built.
Describe it in a sentence or two. You'll get a straight answer about whether we can help, usually the same business day.
