An engineering practice, not a sales organization.
N934 Labs is an independent managed IT and security practice in Phoenix, Arizona. Small by design: the person who scopes your work does your work, and the systems we recommend are the ones we run ourselves.
Where the lab comes from
N934 Labs grew out of years of running production systems: servers that had to stay up, networks rebuilt without anyone noticing, secure cloud environments for regulated work, and the long tail of "can you look at this" that comes with being the person who knows how. The business is the same work with a name on the door and response times in writing.
The "lab" part is literal. In-house we run self-hosted mail, team chat, a monitoring and log-analysis platform and firewall tooling that we build and break ourselves. That is the test bed for what gets recommended to clients, and it's where our Android apps came from — Netlet is the set of tools we kept reaching for on a phone.
How we work
Everything is quoted before it starts. Documentation is part of the job. Credentials, domains and accounts are in your name from day one, so leaving us would be easy — which is the best reason we can give you to stay. And when the honest answer is "you don't need us for that," that's the answer you get.
Where we are
Phoenix, Arizona, on-site across the metro. Remote for design, administration, support and development anywhere in the United States. We've worked inside commercial and government (GCC High) Microsoft environments and in fully self-hosted ones, and we don't have a quota for either.
Month to month after 90 days
Monthly test restores in every plan
Two apps on Google Play, built on the same pipeline we sell
What we hold to
If it can't be explained to the owner in five minutes, it isn't understood well enough to deploy.
Accounts, domains, signing keys and passwords are in your name. We get access you can revoke.
Proven, supported, documented tools over whatever is trending this quarter. Exciting is for the lab, not your payroll server.
A backup is a restore that worked. An alert is one that fired in a drill. We check.
