Services / App development

Apps and internal tools built to ship, not just to demo.

Native Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android, published under your name or ours, with the parts most developers skip handled: listing, privacy policy, data-safety form, signing keys and review. Plus the internal tools and automations that make a small business run.

Who this is for

Businesses that need one focused app — a field tool for technicians, a companion for a product, a utility you wish existed — and organizations that need glue: a dashboard over three systems, an automation that replaces a spreadsheet ritual, a portal for clients.

We publish our own apps, which keeps us honest about what works: see Gridlet and Netlet. Client apps get the same pipeline, tests on the core logic, and a hand-off that lets you move to another developer without losing anything.

Play's rules change every quarterTarget SDK deadlines, data-safety forms, closed-testing requirements. We publish our own apps, so we hit those changes before yours does.

What's included

How an engagement runs

  1. Scope

Half an hour on what it must do, for whom, on which devices. Feature list and quote within two business days.

  2. Design

Clickable mockups of every screen. Cheap to change here, expensive later.

  3. Build

Weekly test builds to your phone from week one; core logic unit-tested; tried on real devices.

  4. Ship

Play Console set up, the closed test Google requires run, review submitted, first month of real users watched.

Common questions

Why not Flutter or React Native?

For Android-only, native Kotlin gives the smallest download, best performance and first-class API access with no plugin layer to break on the next OS release. If you need iOS too, we'll say so.

Who owns the code?

You do, in full, on delivery. Repository, keys and Play account are yours.

How long does an app take?

A focused utility: four to eight weeks from scope to store. Accounts and a backend: longer, and we'll say how much before you commit.

Can you take over an existing app?

Often. We review the code first and tell you honestly whether to continue or rebuild.

Tell us what's broken, or what you want built.

Describe it in a sentence or two. You'll get a straight answer about whether we can help, usually the same business day.
