Gridlet: Block Puzzle — privacy policy
Gridlet is a block puzzle game. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no social features and no servers of our own. This page explains the little data that is involved.
What the app stores on your device
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Your best score and games-played count | So the game can show your record | Stays on your device only |
| A timestamp if you chose "hide ads for an hour" | To honour that choice | Stays on your device only |
| Your ad-consent choices | Required by law in some regions | Stored by Google's consent SDK on the device |
The game needs no permissions beyond network access, which is used solely to load ads.
Advertising
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). To do this, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID (resettable in Android settings), and other device identifiers Google uses for ad delivery and fraud prevention;
- approximate location derived from your IP address;
- device and app information such as model, OS version, language, screen size, app version, and how you interact with ads (impressions, clicks, time viewed);
- diagnostic data such as crash logs and performance metrics.
Google processes this data under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws, the app shows a consent dialog (Google's User Messaging Platform) before loading ads; you can change your choice at any time from the Privacy options link inside the app. You can also opt out of personalized ads device-wide in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
Watching a rewarded ad to hide ads for an hour stores a single timestamp on your device and nothing else.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. It is listed on Google Play for a general audience and is not part of the Designed for Families program.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your data: uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on the device. We hold no server-side account or data about you to delete.
- Ad personalization: reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings, or withdraw consent via Privacy options in the app.
- Questions or requests under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or similar laws: email support@n934.net. We respond within 30 days.
Security
Data sent to Google's ad services is encrypted in transit. Data stored on your device stays within the app's private storage and is included in Android's standard encrypted backups if you have them enabled.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or on the store listing.
